Based on their optimal mutual effects botanic active ingredients from fresh plant extracts and organic glycerine extracts are selected and combined in an optimal concentration. Together with other natural active ingredients, they form the highly effective Phyto Complexes of LUXES Cosmetics skin care products.

FRESH PLANT EXTRACTS WITH PHARMACEUTICAL KNOW HOW

The fresh plant elixirs are mainly of a biological origin and are extracted in Switzerland. In an extremely gentle extraction method based on state-of-the-art pharmaceutical expertise (GMP and ISO certificated proceedings), concentrated extracts with high clinical potency are obtained. The use of fresh plants ensures that active ingredients are incorporated in its purest form in the products. The selection of plants is made with regard to their content of antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, trace elements, and other skin functional qualities.

BIO GLYCERIN PLANT EXTRACTS

In addition to the above-mentioned fresh plants extracts, LUXES Cosmetics contains plant-based Bio-glycerine extracts, which are also derived from selected organic plants. They provide protective and regenerating properties to the fresh plant elixirs.

An intact skin barrier is essential to sustainable and intensively retain moisture and to protect the skin against external as well as environmental influences. Incorrect or excessive oil and silicone containing skin care products may lead to a disruption of the skin’s lipid metabolism and the skin barrier is weakened with time.

Skin-mimic lipids are a complex of skin-identical lipid molecules from high-quality plant oils such as shea butter, avocado oil, jojoba and grape seed oil, which in combination with ceramides 1+3+6 regenerate and strengthen the hydro-lipid barrier of the skin. The skin barrier retains moisture and protects the skin from harmful external environmental influences.
